Jay founded The Koretsky Law Firm/Jay Koretsky, P.A. in 1995, finding its niche in creating a personalized legal atmosphere to handle the most sensitive personal injury, medical negligence and wrongful death cases.
A member in good standing with the Florida bar since 1992, Jay Koretsky, Esq., earned his law degree from the University of Miami. He also holds a Bachelors Degree in Engineering from Cornell University as well as a Masters Degree in Business from the University of Miami Executive MBA Program.
Knowing the sensitive nature of personal injury cases, Jay Koretsky makes his clients his top priority, eliminating the paralegal-attorney disconnect, and offering hands-on legal services where clients can easily communicate directly with their attorney.
In Jay’s free time he likes to swim, play tennis, exercise and spend time with family.
Scott Koretsky, Esquire is a recent addition to The Koretsky Law Firm legal team, though already a part of the Koretsky family. Scott earned his law degree from NSU Shepard Broad School of Law in 2019 and is a member in good standing with The Florida Bar.
In addition to his law degree, Scott earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Central Florida, where he was an active member of his fraternity and intramural sports.
Unique to this experience, Scott personally suffered serious injuries at the age of 9, when he was struck and run over by a motor vehicle while roller-blading. Scott sustained multiple fractures to his legs and arm, requiring extended hospitalization, surgery, physical therapy and rehabilitation. This experience profoundly impacted Scott and the entire Koretsky family.
In Scott’s free time, he enjoys playing tennis, exercising, watching sports and socializing with friends.
